God designs my life - from Xuan Zhao

I cannot describe in full how God loves me with any language, but I can share my personal stories to demonstrate how God loves me and he always moves my will and directs my ways.

I am an international student and I came to America last fall (2007). At beginning, the only purpose to go to the church was to have food because there was wonderful food. And the point was I believed that I could save some money because all the food in church was free. But even now, I don’t feel shame because I think God knows what I wanted at that time and God try to direct my way to touch him and feel him in that way. Right now, I have a part time job. I can afford any food I want, so I can say that I move forward from the beginning basic period in which food was my concerns to the next stage in which I wanted to seek God. Because I attended many church activities, I was interested in why so many people believe in God. I tried to ask some questions about God even though these questions seemed so rude; Fortunately, I met my friends from the church in buffalo and they answered all my questions patiently and carefully. Also, I attended the college meeting on every Thursday evening. We, young generations, college students, could meet together and discuss some Bible questions that we were interested in.

At this point, I felt that God has designed my life stage by stage. And he knows what I want and he always helps me, because he loves me and he wants me to have a happy life in the world. So I decided to believe in God and I was baptized on Feb 24, 2008 at the church in buffalo. After my baptism, I felt that I changed a lot but I just shared a small part of my stories to you and I really want that my true stories can help international students to understand God and believe in God.
